The Private GP Group has been delivering high-quality medical care for generations, with a legacy dating back to 1928 when Dr. Kent first established the practice. Over the years, the practice evolved under the stewardship of Drs. Flight and Sherski, who relocated it to its current head office on Clarence Avenue, New Malden. Our commitment to patient-centered care has driven our expansion across multiple locations, including New Malden, East Horsley, Hinchley Wood, Wimbledon, and Richmond.
Dr. Harris joined the practice in 1989 and has been leading the private practice since 1995, ensuring a steadfast commitment to excellence in healthcare. He has played a pivotal role in expanding our services, most recently opening the East Horsley branch in 2023.

Our team of highly experienced doctors has a wide range of special interests, allowing us to provide comprehensive and personalised medical services. Through our collaboration with Consultants and Allied Health Professionals, we ensure an integrated approach to healthcare that meets the diverse needs of our patients.
In recent years, we have grown our community of allied healthcare professionals, working with Dr. Tom Snow, Consultant Cardiologist, and Dr. Shashi Prasad, our menopause and women's health specialist. We collaborate with Apex Ultrasound for diagnostic ultrasounds and MSK injections and partner with Randox Laboratories to offer the most up-to-date diagnostic tools to promote health and well-being.
We remain committed to our values of accessible and affordable healthcare, offering patients traditional family medicine with the same trusted GPs.
We offer access to private consultants and diagnostic services, including X-rays, MRI scans, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests, through our partnership with Sterling Healthcare Group, of which we are minority shareholders. This collaboration enables us to provide seamless, efficient, and high-quality care under one roof.
